FedOMIX exists because omics technology has moved faster than the operations around it. Providers already have world-class instruments and science; what's missing is a shared operational layer that lets customers and providers work together without every relationship starting from a blank page.

Rather than centralizing genomic data the way a traditional platform might, FedOMIX is built as a federation: organizations join a shared operational network while keeping full ownership and control of their own data and their own direct relationships. Customers stay the data owner. Providers stay the processor, and keep their existing LIMS, pipelines and procedures untouched. FedOMIX coordinates the workflow between them — request, quote, contract, order, samples, QC, delivery — and stops there.

That's deliberate. The first version of FedOMIX solves a real, immediate problem: fragmented onboarding, inconsistent sample registration, static QC files, and ad-hoc delivery. The same standardized workflow and structured data are also the foundation for something further out — see below.

Where This Goes

From orchestration to federated intelligence.

The first phase solves real operational fragmentation. The architecture behind it is designed to carry further, in the open, as adoption grows.

Today

Orchestrate

Connect customers and providers; standardize requests, quotes, samples, QC and delivery.

Tomorrow

Collaborate

Bring applications, experts and multi-provider projects into the same operational record.

Future

Federate

Enable privacy-aware, distributed analytics and intelligence across the network — without centralizing raw data.

One Network. Every Omics Service.

The Team

Operations, science, engineering.

FedOMIX is built by a team that has lived the problem from all three sides it requires. Email and LinkedIn links below are placeholders, to be connected shortly.
